David Bentley Hart on Universalism and Persons

Whenever a David Bentley Hart lecture hits youtube, it generates a certain amount of buzz among his fans, of which I am one. This is his most recent lecture on universalism and it is quite good, as he ties the argument for universalism to what it means to be a person (hint, ‘no man is an island’). Hart’s intellect is sharp and challenging, and I am sure that some will find his lectures daunting. But for those who hang in there, and seek to understand what he is communicating, there is much to be gained by giving him a listen (The introduction audio is indecipherable, and runs to about 5:30 into the video, but Hart’s audio comes in loud and clear):
